Susanna Ghisleri

After a degree in architecture with a specialization in “interior design and projects” obtained at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1994, Susanna Ghisleri continued her training by working for several years in prestigious offices of Milanese architects. In 2000, she opened her own space in Milan and concentrated her activity in interior architecture and the design of objects for the home.

Milan, a dynamic and bubbling city of ideas while being full of traditions, has been very stimulating for Susanna's creativity and has influenced its evolution. Susanna manages both the renovation of apartments in old residences and the decoration of very contemporary lofts. This ambivalence gave her the ability and a particular taste to characterize spaces with a harmonious mixture of styles. She dares to accompany modern design furniture with classic pieces. In Milan, she also discovered an authentic passion for the restoration of furniture. This passion and her talent for creating unique pieces led her to complete her activity as an architect with the design of an exhibition space.

“La Signora delle Mele” opens its doors in Brera, a historic district in the center of Milan. In accordance with Susanna's wishes, this place turns out to be much more than a simple decoration shop, it is a true “tailor-made” workshop where each element, from the object to the piece of furniture, is designed, designed or chosen according to its use and its user.
 

In Switzerland for a few years, Susanna Balzarini continues her activity by enriching the local tastes and regional tendencies by the experience and the sensitivity developed in her country.
